"Weird Al" Yankovic brings his THE APLOCALYPSE TOUR to South Florida!

"Weird Al" Yankovic, the music industry's award-winning accordion-playing lampoonist, brings his latest and greatest musical parodies in THE APLOCALYPSE TOUR.

In the world of novelty records, Yankovic is king, having scored smash after smash over the course of an enduring career where he has mocked everything from new wave to gangsta rap. His witty takes on chart toppers include "I Love Rocky Road," (a satire of Joan Jett & the Blackhearts' "I Love Rock 'n' Roll"), "Ricky" (a tune inspired by Toni Basil's hit "Mickey" and the I LOVE LUCY television series) and "Eat It" (based on Michael Jackson's "Beat It") which won a Grammy and became an MTV smash.

Alfred Matthew Yankovic was the only child of Nick and Mary Yankovic. As a teenager in Lynwood, California, Yankovic began sending homemade tapes of his songs to Dr. Demento, a nationally syndicated disc jockey known for playing comedy and novelty music. Demento found a certain charm in the accordion-powered ditties that Yankovic recorded on a cheap cassette player in his own bedroom, and gave him his first airplay. He not only had a modest cult following from the good Doctor's radio show, but he also had a couple of nationally released singles - "My Bologna" (a take-off on The Knack's "My Sharona") and "Another One Rides the Bus" (a send-up of Queen's "Another One Bites the Dust).

A straight "A" student and valedictorian at the age of 16, Yankovic attended California Polytechnic State University , where, as a DJ at his campus radio station, KCPR, he went under the name of "Weird Al" because of his penchant for playing music that was, well, kind of weird.

In 1984, Weird Al released “Weird Al Yankovic in 3-D”. In addition to the afore-mentioned "Eat It," the album also included "King of Suede" (a rewrite of the Police's "King of Pain") and "I Lost on Jeopardy" (a parody of the Greg Kihn Band's "Jeopardy"), as well as "Polkas on 45," the first in a series of medleys of pop hits recast as polka numbers. “Dare to Be Stupid”, the first comedy record ever released in the new compact disc format, followed in 1985, and featured "Like a Surgeon" (a takeoff of the Madonna hit "Like a Virgin").

“Even Worse” (1988) was Yankovic's platinum-selling return with its title and album cover a reference to Michael Jackson's “Bad” LP. "I'm Fat," the first single and video, also parodied the lavish Martin Scorsese-directed clip for Jackson's hit "Bad"; shot on the same subway set used by Jackson. The video -- which portrayed Yankovic as a grotesquely obese tough guy -- won him his second Grammy. The next year, he starred in the feature film UHF, which he also co-wrote; a soundtrack appeared, as well.

After an extended period of silence, he returned in 1992 with “Off the Deep End”, which featured the Top 40 hit "Smells Like Nirvana" (a send-up of Nirvana's landmark single "Smells Like Teen Spirit"). Additional releases include “Alapalooza” (1993), “Bad Hair Day” (1996), his highest-charting record to date thanks to the success of the single "Amish Paradise" (a take-off of the Coolio hit "Gangsta's Paradise"), “Running with Scissors” (1999) and “Poodle Hat” (2003). “Straight Outta Lynwood” (2006) featured the single "White & Nerdy" (a suburban parody of Chamillionaire's hit "Ridin'").

In between his recordings of the late '90s, Yankovic also hosted his own Saturday morning half-hour TV show on CBS.

Yankovic's 13th studio album released this summer, “Alpocalypse”, skewers the likes of Lady Gaga with "Perform This Way" and Miley Cyrus with "Party in the CIA."

"Weird Al" credits Spike Jones, Stan Freberg, Tom Lehrer, Allan Sherman, Shel Silverstein, Frank Zappa and all the other wonderfully sick and twisted artists that he was exposed to through the Dr. Demento Radio Show.

“Weird Al” Yankovic will be at the Seminole Hard Rock Live in Hollywood, Florida on Tuesday October 4, 2011.

Broadway's JERSEY BOYS heads back to South Florida in 2012!

More than a tribute or a concert featuring a repertoire of The Four Seasons' music, the Broadway musical JERSEY BOYS chronicles the life and the trying times of Franki Valli, Bob Gaudio, Tommy DeVito and Nick Massi -- the four blue-collar workers hailing from the Garden State who became the iconic pop quartet: The Four Seasons.

This multi-Tony Award winning musical sheds light on the ups and downs of the 60's pop group particularly the life of its front man, Franki Valli, to the tunes of their greatest hits such as "Walk Like a Man", "Big Girls Don't Cry", "Sherry" and "Can't Take My Eyes Off You" and some original tunes and scores as well, composed by Bob Gaudio and The Four Seasons' producer and co-composer, Bob Crewe.

"A winner!" as The New Yorker theater critic John Lahr puts it, JERSEY BOYS shows what stars and icons have to go through to withstand four decades of conflicts and arguments between themselves, controversies, life threatening situations and family troubles and yet, be able to leave a remarkable musical legacy that will be cherished by their fans and remembered by succeeding generations.

The legendary rock icon Eric Burdon & The Animals head to South Florida!

As the lead singer of The Animals, Eric Burdon was one of the British Invasion's most distinctive vocalists, with a searingly powerful blues-rock voice. Rolling Stone magazine has named him one of the 100 Greatest Singers of All Time and Iggy Pop and Patti Smith, among other legendary artists, have placed Burdon on their list of top ten favorite singers.

Formed in Newcastle upon Tyne between 1962 and 1963, the original Animals line-up was comprised of Eric Burdon (vocals), Alan Price (organ and keyboards), Hilton Valentine (guitar), John Steel (drums), and Bryan "Chas" Chandler (bass). They were dubbed "animals" because of their wild stage act and the name stuck.

The Animals' moderate success in their hometown and a connection with Yardbirds’ manager Giorgio Gomelsky motivated them to move to London in 1964. They performed fiery versions of staple rhythm and blues repertoire (Jimmy Reed, John Lee Hooker, Nina Simone, etc). "Baby Let Me Follow You Down" (retitled "Baby Let Me Take You Home") was their first single. It was followed in June 1964 by the transatlantic number one hit cover "House of the Rising Sun." Burdon's howling vocals and the dramatic arrangement created, arguably, their first folk rock hit. Burdon and The Animals quickly gained notoriety as England's best R&B band when they were selected by the pirate radio station Radio Caroline as the feature for the first broadcast to the U.S.

The Animals' two-year career featured intense gritty pop-music covers such as Sam Cooke's "Bring It on Home to Me" and the Nina Simone number "Don't Let Me Be Misunderstood." In contrast, their album tracks stayed with rhythm and blues, with Hooker's "Boom Boom" and Ray Charles' "I Believe to My Soul" as notable examples.

As the original Animals slowly disbanded, Burdon formed a new group of Animals and introduced them at the 1967 Monterey International Pop Festival. The band went on to define the era musically with the addition of "San Franciscan Nights" and such classics as "Colored Rain," the grunge–heavy metal pioneering "When I Was Young," "White Houses," the fiercely anti-war song "Sky Pilot," and the now famous homage to the festival itself, "Monterey."

Burdon disbanded the New Animals in favor of other artistic interests, and shortly thereafter began touring as Eric Burdon & WAR. Their debut album, “Eric Burdon Declares WAR”, included two immediate classics: "Tobacco Road" and the worldwide hit, "Spill the Wine." The follow-up LPs, “Black Man's Burdon” and “Love Is All Around” contained hits, such as "They Can't Take Away Our Music," "Paint It Black," "Home Dream" and "A Day in the Life."

After leaving WAR, Burdon joined up with jazz-blues great Jimmy Witherspoon to collaborate on the LP “Guilty!” (renamed “Black & White Blues” for CD release) which featured "The Laws Must Change," "Have Mercy Judge," and "Soledad."

In 2004 Burdon released his first solo studio album in many years called “My Secret Life”, produced by Grammy award-winner Tony Braunagel and in January 2006 released “Soul of a Man”. Burdon is currently working on his third full length solo album.

Burdon's newest group of Animals is Red Young on keyboards, Terry Wilson on bass, Billy Watts on guitar and Jim Christie on drums.

Eric Burdon & The Animals will be at the Seminole Hard Rock Live in Hollywood, Florida on Thursday October 6, 2011

Taylor Swift brings back her SPEAK NOW WORLD TOUR 2011 to South Florida!

The SPEAK NOW WORLD TOUR 2011 is one of the most-anticipated musical experiences of the year, as Taylor's live show is renowned for her incredibly high-energy theatrical presentation of graphics, sets and visual elements, all designed by Taylor herself. During each show, Taylor performs hit after hit from her three albums, including the chart-topping "Love Story," "You Belong With Me," "Fifteen," and "Mine." During the course of the show, Taylor plays several different guitars and has multiple wardrobe changes.

Taylor's 15-month, 107-date FEARLESS 2009 / 2010 Tour sold out arenas and stadiums in 88 cities in five countries spanning four continents, and Taylor is currently slated to play 85 shows in 18 countries on the SPEAK NOW WORLD TOUR 2011.

"Swift's fans don't just believe in her savvy songwriting and gracious, magnetic stage presence. They trust her as a peer," raved the Los Angeles Times. "And if the unerring pleasures of her set - and the crowd's Beatles-sized reactions - were any indication, they'll be trusting her for a long time."

"I'm so excited to go back out on tour again in 2011!" says Taylor. "The FEARLESS Tour was so much fun and even more unforgettable than I ever imagined, and I can't wait to get back out and play my new music from Speak Now! The fans have been so amazing, and I'm thrilled to play in new cities around the world and meet even more of my fans in 2011!"

Taylor Swift is a four-time Grammy winner, the top-selling digital artist in music history, has had singles top both the Country and Pop radio charts, and had the #1 best-selling album in any genre of music in 2009. "Love Story" was the sixth-highest selling digital single worldwide last year. This year, at the age of 20, she became the youngest artist in history to win the music industry's highest honor, the Grammy Award for Album of the Year.

Taylor, who writes all of her own songs, has career record sales now in excess of 13 million albums and 25 million song downloads, and just this month set a new Billboard record for the most Top 10 Hot 100 debuts in the chart's history. She also holds the Billboard all-genre records for most first-week downloads by a female artist, for the longest charting album of this century and for most Top 20 debuts in a calendar year.

Multi-Grammy winner jazz great Al Jarreau heads to South Florida!

Al Jarreau's unique vocal style is one of the world's most precious treasures. His innovative musical expressions have made him one of the most exciting and critically acclaimed performers of our time with seven Grammy Awards, scores of international music awards and popular accolades worldwide.

Singing since the age of four in his hometown of Milwaukee, Wisconsin, Jarreau honed his vocal skills performing locally with his family and a group called the Indigos at Ripon College. After earning his Master's Degree in Vocational Rehabilitation from the University of Iowa, Jarreau relocated to California where he began attracting attention at such famed nightspots as Dino's, The Troubadour and the Bitter End West. He gained national network television exposure with Johnny Carson, Merv Griffin, David Frost and Mike Douglas. Jarreau teamed with guitarist Julio Martinez to "spell" up-and-coming comics John Belushi, Bette Midler, Robert Klein, David Brenner, Jimmie Walker and others at the famed comedy venue, The Improv.

In 1975, he released his debut album, “We Got By”, to international acclaim. Jarreau was awarded a German Grammy for Best New International Soloist that same year. A second German Grammy came his way with the release of his follow-up album, “Glow”.

Jarreau's career breakthrough came in 1977 with “Look to the Rainbow”, his live double album, which was culled from his first world tour from that same year, and earned the vocalist his first American Grammy for Best Jazz Vocal Performance. His fourth album, “All Fly Home”, was released in 1978 to further accolades and a second Grammy for Best Jazz Vocalist. It was followed by a string of innovative and original offerings, including “This Time” (1980), and the million-selling “Breakin' Away”, which brought him a broader audience and two more Grammys with awards for Best Male Pop Vocalist and Best Male Jazz Vocalist.

In 1983, he released Jarreau followed closely the following year by “High Crime”. Both albums spawned a string of R&B and pop hits, and further cemented him as an international superstar. From 1985 to 1994, Jarreau continued to record, win new fans and garner worldwide acclaim with releases like “Al Jarreau- Live in London”, “L is For Lover”, “Heart's Horizon” which contained the #2 R&B smash "So Good," “Heaven and Earth” for which he received his fifth Grammy for Best R&B Vocal Performance and more. He even sang the Grammy-nominated theme song for the hit television series “Moonlighting”.

Additional Jarreau milestone albums include “Tomorrow Today” (2001), “All I Got” (2002), “Accentuate the Positive” (2004) and “Givin' It Up” (2006) featuring his peer, the legendary R&B guitarist and singer George Benson, as well as guest artists including Herbie Hancock, Sir Paul McCartney, Jill Scott, Chris Botti and Patti Austin and more. That dual Grammy award winning effort gave way to “Love Songs” (2008), “Christmas” (2008) and “The Very Best of Al Jarreau: An Excellent Adventure” (2009).

A multi-talented performer, Jarreau has appeared on Broadway as Teen Angel in the 1994 revival of GREASE! as well as guest-starred on the television series “New York Undercover” and “Touched By An Angel”. He has received his own star on the "Hollywood Walk of Fame" commemorating his status as one of the best singers of his generation.

Al Jarreau will be at the Seminole Hard Rock Live in Hollywood, Florida on Monday September 26, 2011.

John Fogerty brings his 2011 Tour to South Florida!

As one of the most revered and influential artists to emerge in the '60s, John Fogerty is still a vital part of the musical landscape. As lead singer, guitarist and songwriter of Creedence Clearwater Revival and as a Grammy Award-winning, chart-topping solo artist, Fogerty's sound has encompassed everything from blues to country to southern swamp rock and roll.

As part of Creedence Clearwater Revival, Fogerty released nine Top Ten singles between 1969 and 1971 starting with the standard "Proud Mary." Creedence also scored eight gold albums between 1968 and 1972 including the hits "Bad Moon Rising" and "Fortunate Son."

Fan favorite hits include "Down on the Corner," "Who'll Stop the Rain," "Have You Ever Seen the Rain," "Midnight Special," "Lookin' out My Back Door" and "Born on the Bayou."

After Creedence split up in 1972, Fogerty released an album of covers, on which he played all the instruments, under the name the Blue Ridge Rangers in 1973. This was followed by a solo album, John Fogerty (1975).

Long legal battles over song credits led Fogerty away from the spotlight until 1984 when he rebounded with a Top Ten single, "The Old Man Down the Road," and a number one album, Centerfield. Eye of the Zombie followed in 1986. In 1997, he released Blue Moon Swamp and the live Premonition. In 2005, he put out Long Road Home: The Ultimate John Fogerty/Creedence Collection and its accompanying DVD, Long Road Home: In Concert, the first compilation of its kind to feature both CCR classics and Fogerty's solo work. After a number of concert appearances, Fogerty released Revival in 2007.

In 2009, he released The Blue Ridge Rangers Rides Again (2009), a series of hit songs from the past with impressive duets from the present, including Bruce Springsteen, Don Henley and Timothy B. Schmit.

Most recently, he celebrated the 25th Anniversary of the release of the smash Centerfield.
Revered as one of the greatest songwriters, singers and guitarists of all time, Fogerty was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 1993.

John Fogerty will be at the Seminole Hard Rock Live in Hollywood, Florida on Thursday November 10, 2011.

Janet Jackson brings her NUMBER ONES - UP CLOSE AND PERSONAL World Tour to South Florida!

The iconic Janet Jackson's NUMBER ONES - UP CLOSE AND PERSONAL World Tour has sold out across North America in record time. The 35-city tour has been making headlines due to this being Janet's largest world tour ever.

Janet is the fastest selling single artist performance ticket this year. The tour has sold out multiple nights in New York, Los Angeles, Toronto, Chicago, Washington DC and Atlantic City as well as single nights in Atlanta and Santa Barbara (Janet now ranks as one of the fastest sold out shows in the 25 year history of the Santa Barbara Bowl).

"These concerts will be different from anything I have ever done. I will be as up close and personal as possible," Jackson said in a statement. "These concerts are not about special effects. This is a love affair between me and those of you who have supported me and my work for all these years. I'll be singing and dancing from my heart. The music will all be songs that you've made number ones for me. Let's go!"

The NUMBER ONES - UP CLOSE AND PERSONAL World Tour is the first time Janet has hit the road since her record-breaking appearance at The Essence Music Festival. These performances will be Janet's largest ever world tour celebrating, for the first time, the icon's 35 number one hits in 35 global cities. Janet still holds the record for the most successful debut concert tour by a recording artist with her 1990 RHYTHM NATION Tour and is continuing to shatter records.

Janet was recently nominated for a Best Actress NAACP Image Award for her performance in Tyler Perry's "Why Did I Get Married Too" for which she also co-wrote the theme song "Nothing". The ballad achieved number one iTunes status. Janet recently also co-starred in Tyler Perry's "For Colored Girls".

Janet's new book "True You" was recently published by Karen Hunter Publishing, an imprint of Gallery Books at Simon & Schuster. Janet's first book reveals her unique, never before revealed perspective on self-esteem.

"True You" chronicles Janet's lifelong struggles with weight and self-esteem. Though not a biography, Janet shares intimate stories from her past, present and until now private communications from her fans on their mutual struggles. "We took this journey together and if my fans had not been so open with me about their problems, I don't believe I would have been able to share this truth," Janet said.

"True You" features information from Janet's personal nutritionist, David Allen, a detailed food and menu plan including never before published recipes, created specifically for Janet by Chef Andre of Kathy Ireland's Worldwide Acafe, and finally Janet's personal journey with her long time and award-winning personal trainer Tony Martinez.

"Everyone is not blessed to have someone like Tony who makes being healthy and fit fun. Being able to share Tony's gifts with my fans, especially young people, is very motivating to me. Tony is a genius," Janet continued. The book is a self-help, healing guide of hope where Janet will use anecdotes from her life to illustrate the power of self acceptance and love.

Janet Jackson will be at the The Fillmore at the Jackie Gleason Theatre in Miami Beach, Florida on Monday December 5, 2011.

Guns N’ Roses bring their NORTH AMERICAN TOUR 2011 to South Florida!

After nearly a year of being absent from the stage, Guns N’ Roses appear to be plotting the beginnings of a North American tour that would begin in late October 2011.

The band, led by Axl Rose as the sole remaining original member, have confirmed three shows so far — an October 28 show in Orlando, FL, an October 29 gig in Miami, FL, and a November 12 gig in Kansas City, MO, with enough holes in the schedule that it’s safe to say that there will be additional dates added.

Guitarist DJ Ashba previously stated earlier this summer that the band is “itching to get out there.” At that time, he said “one of our main big goals is to tour the States.”

Guns N’ Roses played their most recent show in December 2010 in Dubai. Their 2011 road work will start off with 10 shows in South America and Mexico in early October 2011.

The U.S. tour, if it indeed develops into a “tour,” would be the band’s first full set of North American dates since 2006. During those tour dates, a number of songs were added to the set-list, including the first performances of ‘Don’t Cry’ since 1993.

They played an extensive amount of shows, canceling only a small number of dates on the tail end in early 2007, aiming to finish up the long-delayed ‘Chinese Democracy’ album (which, as we know now, didn’t actually happen until it was released in 2008.)

As always, there was a little bit of drama on the tour, with Axl booting opening act the Eagles of Death Metal after a poorly received performance in Cleveland, OH, which was their first date as an opener. He referred to the band as the “Pigeons of Sh-t Metal” and announced that they wouldn’t be playing any further GN’R dates.

There is always the question about whether or not we might see a new Guns N’ Roses album soon. GN’R bassist Tommy Stinson tells Rolling Stone that “we certainly did record a lot of stuff,” referring to the time that the band spent working on ‘Chinese Democracy.’

“We recorded three records worth of material over the course of that 10-year period, but I think that a lot of the unfinished bits were mostly lyrics and mixes and things like that.”

Wisely, Stinson refused to comment on whether a new album was currently in progress, saying that “I don’t get into that aspect. That’s Axl’s business.”

Guns N’ Roses will be at the American Airlines Arena in downtown Miami, Florida on Saturday October 29, 2011.

Marc Anthony brings his (mini) 2011 Tour to South Florida!

"I am really excited about visiting some of my favorite cities on this tour. I can't wait to share my music with all my fans and partner one more time with CMN for my upcoming U.S. tour," said Anthony.

Marc Anthony has sold over 12 million albums worldwide, making him one of the most influential artists of his time and a true ambassador of Latin music and culture. He has been awarded countless Standard gold and platinum certifications from the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA). The Miami Dolphins minority owner, who has also established a highly credible acting resume, was recognized with a Lifetime Achievement Award by the Congressional Hispanic Caucus Institute in Washington D.C. in September 2009.

May 2010 marked the release of his latest production, "Iconos" (Icons), an all ballad Spanish album produced by Marc Anthony and Julio Reyes including eight titles of his favorite balladeers and two original songs--both written by Julio Reyes and Anthony. Marc Anthony will be at the American Airlines Arena in downtown Miami, Florida on Friday & Saturday September 16 & 17, 2011.

Elvis Costello and the Imposters postpone their South Florida concert date!

Elvis Costello and the Imposters' concert scheduled for Sunday September 18, 2011 at the Seminole Hard Rock Live in Hollywood, Florida has been postponed.

"It is with regret and sorrow that Elvis Costello announces that he must delay the start of the next leg of THE REVOLVER TOUR until the 24th of September in Atlanta. This is due to matters pertaining to the very serious illness of a close family member. All shows prior to the 24th will be postponed," relayed a spokesperson for Elvis Costello.

The spokesperson further stressed that Mr. Costello's wife and children were in excellent health but declined to elaborate further hoping that people would understand the desire and need for calm and privacy at this difficult time.

Roger Daltrey brings The Who’s TOMMY to South Florida!

The legendary frontman brings one of The Who’s legendary albums: TOMMY to the U.S. and Canada starting tomorrow: September 13, 2011.

What’s different between Roger Daltrey's version of the tale depicting blind, deaf and dumb Tommy Walker and The Who’s 1989 tour featuring the 1969 album? As with the U.K. tour, the North American run is being described as the first start-to-finish performance of the rock opera. While The Who presented Tommy several times since the late 1960s, the band was known to leave out a song or two, most notably “Welcome” which was not included in the 1989 tour.

Daltrey and his band premiered their rendition of TOMMY at the March 25 Teenage Cancer Trust at London’s Royal Albert Hall. Since then, fans have been lusting for a full-blown TOMMY tour. For North American fans, this news was Christmas seven months early.

Daltrey also played the lead in the multi-award winning 1975 Ken Russell film adaptation of TOMMY, alongside: Ann-Margret, Jack Nicholson, Oliver Reed as well as Elton John, Eric Clapton, John Entwistle, Keith Moon and Tina Turner.

The AEG Live-produced tour launches at the Seminole Hard Rock in Hollywood, Florida on September 13 and wraps in Winnipeg, Manitoba at the MTS Centre November 2. Stops in between include Boston at the Agganis Arena September 17; Philadelphia at the Mann Center September 21; Uniondale, NY, at Nassau Coliseum September 23; Montreal at Place Des Arts September 27; Ottawa, Ontario, at Scotiabank Place September 28 and Toronto at Sony Centre For The Performing Arts September 30.

Who has the chops to back Daltrey in this TOMMY undertaking? That would be guitarist Frank Simes, drummer Scott Deavours, bassist Jon Button and keyboardist Loren Gold. Also backing Daltrey on guitar will be Pete Townshend’s brother Simon, who has also played with The Who on the band’s recent tours.

“TOMMY, an album that tells a story about a ‘deaf, dumb and blind boy’ who becomes the leader of a messianic movement, will always be seen as a turning point for the band,” Daltrey said. “Within it, I found the new voice of The Who and the band found its stride in making that music, adjusting it, using all that knowledge that we had from jazz and the blues into making it work in a rock way.”

Roger Daltrey performs The Who’s TOMMY will be at the Seminole Hard Rock Live in Hollywood, Florida on Tuesday September 13, 2011.

British sensation Adele heads to South Florida!

British soul sensation Adele has been on a roll — her critically lauded sophomore album, “21” held the #1 position on the Billboard Charts for ten weeks, and helped turned her into a household name. American fans hoping to catch Adele live were deeply disappointed when it was revealed earlier in the month that she’d have to cancel her North American tour, due to laryngitis.

“As I’m sure most of you know I had to cancel over half of my U.S. tour a couple (of) weeks back,” she wrote on her web site. “It was a devastating decision to make, but I really had no choice. I had to give my voice 2 weeks rest or risk permanent damage. I’m so so sorry.”

Quashing some recent rumors about herself, she added, “I haven't been told to not sing or talk for a month, I have given up smoking again! And also I'm not having singing lessons.”

'I got better before and I'm getting better this time, and I will do everything I can to make sure nothing like this happens again!'

The 23-year-old announced recently the rescheduled dates for her tour, which will began August 9th. The new itinerary features six additional cities — Las Vegas, NV, Atlantic City, NJ, Durham, NC, Orlando, FL, Miami, FL and Spring, TX.

Adele will be at the Waterfront Theatre at the American Airlines Arena in downtown Miami, Florida on Friday October 14, 2011.

DISCO NIGHTS Tour brings The Trammps, The Village People & Gloria Gaynor to South Florida!

Disco legends the Trammps began in Philadelphia in 1972 featuring vocalist, Jimmy Ellis, Harold Doc Wade, Stanley Wade and Earl Young and traveled with as many as 11 members, culled from the ranks of the busiest and best musicians, many of whom also played for Gamble and Huff's Philly International and later for Vince Montana's Salsoul Orchestra. The Trammps' first recording was "Zing Went the Strings of My Heart," a remake of a tune originally recorded by Judy Garland in 1943, which reached #17 on the R&B chart and #64 on the pop charts. In 1975, the Trammps became one of the hottest disco recording acts. "Hooked for Life" and "Where the Happy People Go" became their biggest pop hits to date. Other Trammps hits included, "Disco Party," "Body Contact," "I Feel Like I've Been Livin' (On The Dark Side Of The Moon)," "The Night the Lights Went Out" and "Soul Bones," which features a harmonica solo by Stevie Wonder. The pinnacle of the Trammps career, however, was "Disco Inferno." In 1977, "Disco Inferno," was the hottest song on the international dance scene and the group was recognized as the best performing group by one of New York's most popular clubs, 2001 Space Odyssey, the location for the 1977 motion picture classic, SATURDAY NIGHT FEVER. The soundtrack for the movie, which included "Disco Inferno," was the industry's biggest selling album to date and won the Trammps a Grammy Award in 1979.

Village People, who recently celebrated their 34th anniversary in 2010, defined the disco era with their international sing-along hits "In the Navy," "Macho Man," "YMCA," "Go West," "San Francisco" and "In Hollywood." They also recorded the title hit to their 1980 feature film, CAN’T STOP THE MUSIC. Together, the band has sold over 100 million albums and, over the years, has appeared on the cover of Rolling Stone magazine and in Time, Playgirl, GQ, US, People and hundreds more. They have been featured on "The Wendy Williams Show, "NBC's "Singing Bee" with Joey Fatone and in an American Express TV commercial with Ellen Degeneres and Beyonce. The Guinness World Records book certified their Sun Bowl appearance on December 31, 2008 as the world's largest YMCA dance with over 40,000 fans "doing the YMCA moves" while the group performed. Also, in 2008, the band was honored with their own star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.

She was 19 when she signed her first record contract. In 1973, Gloria Gaynor made history as Billboard gave birth to the Disco Action Charts. "Never Can Say Good-Bye" bowed at #1 on the charts and became the first dance song to reach #1 status. In 1978, Gaynor's "I Will Survive," took the world by storm, and today, is still one of the most requested and most popular dance hits and karaoke requests of all time. In 2001, her single "Just Keep Thinkin' About You," topped the Billboard Dance/Club charts at #1, while her international hit, "Last Night" with Giorgio Moroder," debuted at #1 throughout Europe. In keeping with the theme of #1, Gloria Gaynor was the first to record an album especially for clubs, and the first to do a mega-extended dance medley party mix, releasing 12" dance singles that are now collectors' items. In 2002, she released the U.S. LP entitled "I Wish You Love;" her first worldwide in 15 years. It gave birth to four #1 dance singles as well as her first top ten hit, "I Never Knew," on Billboard's Adult Contemporary Charts. Also, in 2002, she was honored at the World Music Awards in Monte Carlo with the coveted LEGEND award presented by longtime fan, Prince Albert. She has appeared on Broadway in the longest running musical revue, SMOKEY JOE’S CAFÉ’ and on TV guest-starring on FOX TV’s “That '70s Show”, Ally McBeal” and more. The film industry continues to feature "I Will Survive" on the soundtrack of more than a half dozen major motion picture releases and is performed nightly on Broadway in the musical adaptation of the film PRISCILLA: QUEEN OF THE DESERT. VH-1 honored Gloria Gaynor with the #1 spot during its countdown of the Top 100 Dance Records of All Time for "I Will Survive". In 2005, Gaynor, along with her hit song "I Will Survive," was inducted into the Dance Music Hall of Fame. Her autobiography of the same name is a revealing trip through her journey in life.

Dionne Warwick brings her 2011 Tour to South Florida!

Celebrating her 50th Anniversary in show business this year, Dionne Warwick has won the hearts of legions of fans over the past 50 years. Just a sample of her well-known, chart-topping hits include "I'll Never Fall in Love Again," "Do You Know the Way to San Jose," " That's What Friends Are For," "I Say a Little Prayer for You" and That's What Friends Are For." In addition to earning five Grammy Awards, she has been recognized with a lifetime achievement award from the R&B Foundation, was named a "Hero in the Struggle" by the Black AIDS Institute and has been honored by NAMM for her tireless effort to promote music education in schools.

Dionne Warwick was born into a gospel-music family. Her father was a gospel record promoter and her mother managed the gospel group the Drinkard Sisters, made up of her relatives. At age 6 she began singing at the New Hope Baptist Church in Newark, New Jersey, and joined the choir shortly after. As a teenager, Warwick formed the Gospelairs with her sister Dee Dee and members of the choir. The singing group performed throughout New Jersey and Connecticut for more than a decade, recorded background vocals on sessions in New York and once won the Amateur Hour at the Apollo Theatre, thrilling the venue's famously hard-to-please audience.

While the Gospelaires were singing at a Drifters session, Burt Bacharach approached Warwick to demo songs he had written with lyricist Hal David. The demo earned Warwick a recording contract with independent label Scepter Records, which led to her first single, "Don't Make Me Over," in 1962. She reached the pop and R&B Top Ten and the Top Five of the easy listening charts with Anyone Who Had a Heart, which was also her first record to reach the charts in the U.K. Her popularity continued with “Walk on By”, which reached number one on the R&B charts.

By then, The Beatles had arrived on the American scene, and for awhile, pop artists like Warwick took a beating on the charts. Nevertheless the singer continued to place singles and LPs in the rankings and in the spring of 1966, she returned to the top of the charts with "Message to Michael." In 1967, she topped the R&B LP charts with her gold-selling “Here Where There Is Love” album. Shortly after, she had amassed enough chart singles to release “Dionne Warwick's Golden Hits, Pt. 1”, her first album to reach the pop Top Ten.

Shortly after, her record “Say a Little Prayer” and her LP “Valley of the Dolls” were also certified gold. Following her triumphant success, Warwick spotlighted her gospel heritage with “The Magic of Believing” in 1968. The album captured the singer in her prime, delivering impassioned gospel music.

Her next single "Do You Know the Way to San José" won the Grammy Award for Best Contemporary Pop Vocal Performance, Female. It was to be the first of many. Two years later, Warwick's "I'll Never Fall In Love Again," from the 1968 Broadway musical PROMISES, PROMISES brought her another Grammy Award.

In 1979, she signed with Arista Records and earned her third Grammy Award for "I'll Never Love This Way Again," produced by Barry Manilow. "Deja Vu," also from the same platinum-selling album Dionne, brought a fourth Grammy Award.

In 1985, Warwick organized a recording of Bacharach and Carole Bayer Sager's song "That's What Friends Are For" to benefit AIDS, featuring herself, Elton John, Gladys Knight and Stevie Wonder. The album “Friends” in which it was included on went gold, and the song earned Warwick her fifth Grammy for Best Pop Performance by a Duo or Group with Vocal.

After her 1995 album “Aquarela Do Brazil”, she parted ways with Arista Records. In 1998, she released “Dionne Sings Dionne”, an album consisting largely of her re-recorded hits.

Most recently, in celebration of her 50th Anniversary year, Warwick released a new album this summer, "Only Trust Your Heart," featuring lushly arranged original songs and standards by the great Sammy Cahn. She also stirred-up some controversy on the 2011 season of Donald Trump’s enormously successful NBC TV reality series CELEBRITY APPRENTICE.

Dionne Warwick will be at the Seminole Hard Rock Live in Hollywood, Florida on Friday September 8, 2011.
