Once upon a time, Aubrey Drake Graham was best known as Jimmy Brooks in "Degrassi: The Next Generation", a teenage soap opera that aired on Nickelodeon's spin-off channel, The-N. Today he only goes by his middle name: Drake, and his solo debut album, "Thank Me Later", debuted at No. 1 with more than 400,000 records sold in the first week alone.On September 21, Drake will bring his THE LIGHT DREAMS AND NIGHTMARES Tour to the James L. Knight Center in South Florida. Best known for his hits "Over," "Best I Ever Had," and "Successful," he also forms part of the Young Money collective, which also includes Lil' Wayne and Nicki Minaj.
The Canadian rapper has performed at various club appearances and on Wayne's recent arena tours when they visited South Florida, but this show will be his first official solo show in South Florida with his touring band.
Drake will be at the James L. Knight Center in downtown Miami, Florida on Tuesday September 21, 2010.
