WWE Survivor Series Pay-Per-View Returns to South Florida!

WWE Survivor Series 2010 returns for a 23rd year in 2010. The event will take place this Sunday, November 21st in Miami, Florida.

The Survivor Series made its pay-per view debut on Thanksgiving Day, November 26, 1987, and was held at the Richfield Coliseum in Richfield, Ohio.

Survivor Series is the second longest running PPV event in WWE history, behind WrestleMania, and along with the Royal Rumble, WrestleMania, and SummerSlam, it is one of the original four WWE annual PPV events.

During a WWE investors meeting in February, Vince McMahon announced that the event would be discontinued and re-branded due to a poor PPV buy rate in 2009 (225,000 buys) and an out-dated concept.

The WWE Survivor Series Pay-Per-View event will be at the American Airlines Arena in Miami, Florida on Sunday November 21, 2010.
