Maná kicked-off the second U.S. leg of the Mexican rock band’s 2011-2012 world tour in April and included stops at major venues from Los Angeles’ Staples Center to NYC’s Madison Square Garden Arena.The group, which hails from Guadalajara, is touring in support of its eighth studio album, “Drama y Luz”. The album has already snagged 2011 Latin Grammy Awards for best rock album and best engineered album and is up for a 2012 award for best Latin pop, rock or urban album.
Maná returned to Madison Square Garden Arena on April 10 and the band’s April 27 show at Staples Center marked its ninth performance at the arena – and set the record for the most concerts ever played by one act at the venue.
Maná will be at the American Airlines Arena in downtown Miami, Florida on Friday May 11, 2012.
