For the first time in nearly a decade, Sade will take on a slew of overseas shows this spring before returning to the States to kick off the outing with Legend June 16 in Baltimore. The Live Nation-produced arena tour will stop by 50 cities, according to a press release.
Sade unveiled "Soldier of Love," the group's sixth studio effort, in February 2010. The album, their first since 2000's "Lovers Rock," became their first to debut at No. 1 on The Billboard 200 with sales of 502,000 copies.
Legend most recently released "Wake Up!," a collaborative collection with hip hop outfit The Roots. The self-produced album, which mostly covers '60s and '70s soul music, debuted at No. 8 on The Billboard 200.
Sade with John Legend will be at the Bank Atlantic Center in Sunrise/Fort Lauderdale, Florida on Friday July 15, 2011.
