Teenage pop star Justin Bieber will take to the road this summer for his first headlining tour of North America behind his full-length studio debut, "My World 2.0."
The MY WORLD 2010 Tour, which will feature special guest Sean Kingston, kicks off June 23, 2010 in Hartford, CT. The 43-city outing includes a handful of Canadian performances before concluding September 4th in Allentown, PA.
"My World 2.0," the follow-up to Bieber's 2009 debut EP, "My World," hits shelves on Tuesday March 23rd. The set showcases 10 new tracks, including the lead single, "Baby," which features special guest Ludacris. The video for "Baby" is currently streaming at Bieber's website.
Before the nine-song "My World" EP debuted in November 2009, Bieber made Billboard history, becoming the first solo artist to have at least four singles--"One Time," "One Less Lonely Girl," "Love Me" and "Favorite Girl"--enter the Top 40 of the magazine's Hot 100 before his debut album's release. Once the EP hit retailers, it peaked at No. 6 on The Billboard 200, selling approximately 137,000 copies its first week out.
"I'm looking forward to influencing others in a positive way," Bieber stated in the bio section at his website. "My message is you can do anything if you put your mind to it."
Justin Bieber will be at the Bank Atlantic Center in Sunrise, Florida on Thursday August 5, 2010.
