Electro-funk duo Chromeo brings their NIGHT FALLS Tour to South Florida!

Chromeo is hitting North American stages this fall for the electro-funk duo’s most extensive tour yet.

The seven-week NIGHT FALLS Tour takes its name from the band’s next official single, “When The Night Falls.” The tune, which features Solange Knowles, hails from Chromeo’s 2010 album “Business Casual” and was released on a remix EP July 26, 2011. The EP features a cover version by Mayer Hawthorne and remixes from Hercules And Love Affair, Lifelike and Breakbot.

The fall trek began September 14 at Dallas’ House of Blues and runs through a November 2 gig at Toronto’s Sound Academy.

Chromeo’s Dave 1 and P-Thugg will also play Orlando, FL, at Beacham Theatre (September 21); Detroit at The Majestic (September 26); Chicago’s House of Blues (September 30); the Boulder Theater in Colorado (October 6); Seattle’s Showbox SoDo (October 10); St. Louis at The Pageant (October 24); and Philadelphia’s Electric Factory (October 31).

Mayer Hawthorne will support the tour on the majority of the dates. Breakbot will also open on select shows.

Before kicking off the fall dates Chromeo wrapped-up a European tour and will then head to Canada, Belgium and United Kingdom after they conclude their U.S. dates.

Chromeo will be at The Fillmore at the Jackie Gleason Theatre in Miami Beach, Florida tonight: Tuesday September 20, 2011.
