Aerosmith bring their THE GLOBAL WARMING World Tour and Cheap Trick to South Florida!

Promising that “more prisoners will be taken,” Aerosmith is heading back to the stage in November for the second leg of THE GLOBAL WARMING World Tour.  The next round of dates is a 14-city arena tour that begins in Oklahoma City.
“The old Aerosmith is back with a new vengeance and we will kick your ass and make out with your mothers,” says Steven Tyler.  We could probably do without the latter, but as for the band’s return to the American stage, it’s highly anticipated. Guitarist Joe Perry adds, “Can’t wait to bring this band back home. It feels like we’ve been away too long.”
The first leg of the tour earned the band tons of glowing reviews from the East Coast to the West and yes… Cheap Trick continues to join them as the tour continues.
The New York Times called Tyler “an unstoppable vocalist who was belting, howling, letting loose falsetto whoops or barking rhymes at proto-hip-hop speed” and the Boston Herald noted that Joe Perry “remains one of rock’s great guitarists.”
Over at the Orange County Register in California, the paper wrote, “They haven’t sounded so fierce in years.”
Two days before the second leg begins Aerosmith will put out its new album, “Music From Another Dimension”, on Columbia Records. During the tour fans can expect to hear “blazing songs” from the November 6 release as well as career-defining hits.

The album sold over sixteen million copies worldwide.

He also received an affectionate tribute from Miami residents, the city in which he resided, granting him a place of honor on the legendary Walk of Latin Stars on Miami’s 8th Street (La Calle Ocho).
Iglesias’ popularity continued to grow throughout the ’80s, although he only had one more pop crossover hit, 1988′s “My Love,” a duet with Stevie Wonder. That same year, he received a Grammy Award for Best Latin Singer of the Year 1987 for his album “Un hombre Solo” and Artist of the Year from Aplauso ’92.
Other honors Iglesias has earned include being named Ambassador of Galicia, Spain, being awarded the Monaco World Music Award for the best Latin singer, receiving the ASCAP Pied Piper Award (as the first Latin recipient) and having the distinct honor of being the only foreign artist in China’s history to receive the prestigious Golden Record Award. He has performed in the inaugural Olympics ceremony in Seoul, South Korea, has served as a UNICEF Special Representative for the Performing Arts and received a Star of Scheveningen in The Netherlands, all in addition to his many international recording industry honors.

P!nk finally returns to South Florida as she brings her THE TRUTH ABOUT LOVE North American Tour!

New mom and recent Cover Girl, Pink recently dropped her sixth studio album, and the "Blow Me (One Last Kiss)" singer has a shiny new North American tour to go along with it.

Before answering fan questions during a live Q&A, the singer unveiled the 25 cities she's hitting up on her THE TRUTH ABOUT LOVE North American Tour, scheduled to kick off February 2013 in Phoenix.

Here are two things you need to know about THE TRUTH ABOUT LOVE North American Tour that we learned from the always outspoken Pink during her recent ‘live’ chat:
1) Bob Mackie will be designing the tour outfits. Pink also worked with Mackie on her FUNHOUSE World Tour in 2009, and Pink revealed she's one of his favorite clients because she has the smallest chest. "Boobs are hard to dress," apparently.

2) Robyn is probably not going to be opening for Pink on the tour. When fans were throwing suggestions at her and the "Call Your Girlfriend" singer's name popped up, Pink wasn't thrilled about what Robyn had to say about Katy Perry when she was the opener during a leg on Katy's 2011 CALIFORNIA DREAMS World Tour: "If you're going to talk shit about me, at least wait for the last stop on the tour."
Pink will be at the BB&T Center (formerly the Bank Atlantic Center) in Sunrise/Fort Lauderdale, Florida on Monday February 25, 2013.

The lady appeared at the Bayou Country Superfest in Baton Rouge, Louisiana on May 26 and headed across The Pond for her first-ever headlining gig at London’s Royal Albert Hall on June 21. How anxious are the Brits to see 2005 “American Idol” winner? The show sold out in 90 minutes, indicating Londoners lover Underwood as much as her fans do in the States.
After an appearance at Toronto’s “Boots & Hearts Music Festival” on August 12, Underwood’s BLOWN AWAY World Tour gets down to the city-after-city routine beginning September 14 in Manchester, NH at the Verizon Wireless Arena. With dates on the books through December 22 when she lands in Sunrise, FL to play the Bank Atlantic Center, you should find plenty of opportunities to catch Underwood live on stage as well as her special guest Hunter Hayes.

Michael Feinstein brings his SINATRA PROJECT to South Florida!

Michael Feinstein, “The Ambassador of the Great American Songbook,” takes his interpretations of beloved Frank Sinatra classics and timeless favorites across North America.
Michael Feinstein’s newest CD, “The Sinatra Project, Volume II: The Good Life”, was released last year by Concord Records and debuted at #17 on Billboard’s Traditional Jazz chart and #14 on the Contemporary Jazz chart. The album is the follow-up to the Grammy Award-nominated “The Sinatra Project” in 2008. This disc celebrates not only Frank Sinatra, but his contemporaries Peggy Lee, Ray Charles, Rosemary Clooney, Tony Bennett and Nancy Wilson.

Michael Feinstein first met “Ol’ Blue Eyes” at 21 while playing a birthday party for Sinatra’s wife, Barbara. Sinatra took a liking to Feinstein because he knew all of his obscure songs; they remained friends until Sinatra’s death.
An additional PBS concert, “The Sinatra Legacy” – taped in concert at Feinstein’s new theater in Indiana – is airing nationally on public TV stations around the county throughout the season and was released on DVD and Blu-ray.
Feinstein’s syndicated NPR series Song Travels, which features interviews and live performances from such diverse artists as Bette Midler, Moby, Neil Sedaka, Joshua Bell and Pink Martini, is currently airing on public radio stations around the country.
He is producing a movie with Steven Spielberg and Oscar-winner Marc Platt (AMERICAN BEAUTY) for Dreamworks Pictures about the creation of George Gershwin’s landmark folk opera PORGY & BESS, featuring a screenplay by Douglas Wright (“I Am My Own Wife”, “Grey Gardens: The Musical”). Feinstein has written a coffee table book, The Gershwins And Me, which will be published by Simon & Schuster in October 2012.
His acclaimed national PBS-TV series Michael Feinstein’s AMERICAN SONGBOOK, in which he uncovers treasures of classic American music, is now available on DVD with an additional disc of bonus features. It was one of PBS’s highest-rated music programs of 2010. The series was the recipient of the ASCAP Deems Taylor Television Broadcast Award and returned with new episodes in January 2012. The first two seasons are now available on DVD, with season three to air in 2013.
Feinstein’s other recent recordings include a new duet CD “Power Of Two” with GLEE and 30 ROCK star Cheyenne Jackson, as well as “We Dreamed These Days” – featuring the Carmel Symphony Orchestra. Feinstein co-wrote the title song with Dr. Maya Angelou.
With two Emmys and five Grammy Award-nominations, Feinstein has received national recognition for his commitment to celebrating America’s popular song and preserving its legacy for the next generation. In 2007, he founded the Michael Feinstein Great American Songbook Initiative, dedicated to celebrating the art form and preserving it through educational programs, Master Classes, and the annual High School Vocal Academy and Competition, which awards scholarships and prizes to students across the country. Michael serves on the Library of Congress’ National Recording Preservation Board, an organization dedicated to ensuring the survival, conservation and increased public availability of America’s sound recording heritage.
Feinstein serves as Artistic Director of the Palladium Center for the Performing Arts, a $170 million, three-theatre venue in Carmel, Indiana, which opened in January 2011. The theater is home to an annual international Great American Arts festival, diverse live programming and a museum for his rare memorabilia and manuscripts. Starting in 2010, he became the director of the Jazz and Popular Song Series at New York’s Jazz at Lincoln Center. In 2013, he will replace the late Marvin Hamlisch as the lead conductor of the Pasadena Pops
The roots of all this work began in Columbus, Ohio, where Feinstein started playing piano by ear as a 5-year-old. After graduating from high school, he worked in local piano bars for two years, moving to Los Angeles when he was 20. The widow of legendary concert pianist-actor Oscar Levant introduced him to Ira Gershwin in July 1977. Feinstein became Gershwin’s assistant for six years, which earned him access to numerous unpublished Gershwin songs, many of which he has since performed and recorded.
Gershwin’s influence provided a solid base upon which Feinstein evolved into a captivating performer, composer and arranger of his own original music. He also has become an unparalleled interpreter of music legends such as Irving Berlin, Jerome Kern, Johnny Mercer, Duke Ellington and Harry Warren. Feinstein has received three honorary doctorates.
Michael Feinstein will be at the Seminole Hard Rock Live in Hollywood, Florida on Monday October 22, 2012.
