John Legend heads to South Florida with Stacy Barthe!

This summer, nine-time Grammy Award-winner John Legend released one of the hottest singles of his career, the chart-topping hit “Tonight (Best You’ve Ever Had)” featuring Ludacris, which has been #1 for six weeks at Urban AC radio. The song is heavily featured in Steve Harvey’s film, THINK LIKE A MAN. Legend was most recently a judge on ABC’s hit music show Duets.

Legend’s debut album, “Get Lifted”, received eight Grammy Award nominations; it won Best New Artist, Best R&B album and Best Male R&B Vocal Performance for “Ordinary People” while selling more than three million copies worldwide. His follow-up album, “Once Again”, achieved RIAA platinum sales certification and a Grammy Award for Best Male R&B Vocal Performance for “Heaven.” In 2008, John released Evolver, his third Top 10 album, which included the hit single “Green Light” featuring Andre 3000.

Recently, Legend teamed up with The Roots to release the socially conscious album, “Wake Up!” The album was nominated for five Grammy Awards and won Best R&B Album, Best Traditional R&B Vocal Performance and Best R&B song (for “Shine” – an original composition also featured in Academy Award-winning director Davis Guggenheim’s documentary film WAITING FOR SUPERMAN) along with two NAACP Image Awards for Outstanding Album and Outstanding Duo, Group or Collaboration.

Stacy Barthe, a recent HomeSchool Records signing, is a fresh new artist who embodies the essence of young soul. She landed her first songwriting placement on Britney Spears’ 2008 album, “Circus”. Two years later, Barthe released her first EP, “Sincerely Yours, Stacy”. Previously, she has worked with artists including Akon, Melanie Fiona, Estelle, Brandy, and Diddy.

John Legend will be at the Seminole Hard Rock Live in Hollywood, Florida on Wednesday October 17, 2012.
