Alejandro Sanz Brings his TOUR PARAISO to South Florida!

After taking a two-year respite from touring, Spanish superstar Alejandro Sanz returns to the road this year with his TOUR PARAISO -- an outing that touches down on three continents.

The TOUR PARAISO reaches the U.S. for a 15-city run in April and May 2010, after making its way through Central and South America. The singer-songwriter then heads to Spain for some summer stadium dates.

Sanz is on the road behind his latest album, "No Es Lo Mismo," which is his first new set in nearly three years. According to a press release, the album has sold nearly 2 million copies to date.

More than a dozen back-up musicians from various countries-- including the U.S., Cuba and Spain-- will join Sanz on the tour. Keyboardist Albert Menendez will serve as the tour's musical director.

British designer Adrian Smith created the stage backdrops, coming up with "a stage concept with no major structures, where the scene is transformed into different spaces through the use of visual projections."

"No Es Lo Mismo" picked up a Grammy nomination this year in the Best Latin Pop Album category. Sanz, who has won several Latin Grammys over the course of his career, also picked up a Best Latin Pop Album nomination for his 2001 album "El Alma al Aire."

Alejandro Sanz brings his TOUR PARAISO to the American Airlines Arena in Miami, Florida on Saturday April 24, 2010.
