U2 finally bring their 360° World Tour along with Florence + The Machine to South Florida!

In the wake of Bono's emergency back surgery last year, U2 was forced to postpone its 360° North American Tour. Several dates on the tour were rescheduled to 2011, including their July 9, 2010 date in South Florida which was rescheduled to Wednesday, June 29th, 2011 at the Sun Life Stadium in Miami, Florida.

Once the rescheduled North American tour dates for 2011 were finally announced, U2's manager Paul McGuinness thanked fans for their ongoing support, "We're delighted the dates are rescheduled and in all the same venues we originally planned to play. It hasn't been easy to accomplish this and I'd like to thank the managers of the many venues and sports teams across North America and Live Nation Global Touring for their help and cooperation in making this complex new plan possible. Above all we want to thank the U2 fans for bearing with us. They're the best and the band wants to get back to where they belong, surrounded by their audience."

Though the band Interpol was part of the 2010 leg of the 360° World Tour, U2 is more than thrilled to have the global sensation Florence + The Machine open for them on these new dates of the tour.

Live Nation Entertainment says all previously purchased tickets will be valid at the rescheduled performances.

The rescheduled date for U2's 360° North American Tour is Wednesday June 29, 2011 at the Sun Life Stadium in Miami, Florida.
