Sade brings her 2011 Tour and John Legend to South Florida!

After a decade out of the limelight, the 51-year-old contemporary singer Sade Adu and her eponymous backing band reemerged earlier this year with the chart-topping release "Soldier of Love." And now Sade’s first tour in ten years promises to be a big one.

The tour, which launced early summer 2011, will eventually expand to 50 dates across North America.

Other highlights on the tour's itinerary included stops on June 24 at the IZOD Center in East Rutherford, NJ; July 6 at TD Garden in Boston, MA; and the upcoming August 5 at United Center in Chicago, IL.

Sade last toured in 2001 for the LOVERS LIVE Tour, playing to more than 1 million fans during that run, according to a press statement for the group. That trek followed 2000's "Lovers Rock," the fifth studio album for Sade, which peaked at No. 3 on the Billboard 200.

Joining Sade on the tour is John Legend, who most recently released "Wake Up!," a collaborative collection with hip hop outfit The Roots. His self-produced album, which mostly covers '60s and '70s soul music, debuted at No. 8 on The Billboard 200.

Sade released "Soldier of Love" in February this year, and the record instantly rocketed to the top of the charts. By the first week of July, Billboard ranked it as the third best-selling album of 2010 (behind Lady Antebellum and Justin Bieber) with more than 1,200,000 units sold nationally.

Sade (with Special Guest: John Legend) will be at the Bank Atlantic Center in Sunrise/Fort Lauderdale, Florida on Friday July 15, 2011 and at the American Airlines Arena in downtown Miami, Florida on Saturday July 16, 2011.
