Broadway diva Patti LuPone heads to South Florida!

A tremendous talent and a musical force to be reckoned with, two-time Tony Award® winner Patti LuPone is one of the greatest performers in modern musical theater. She has dominated television (the mom on ABC TV’s LIFE GOES ON and UGLY BETTY to NBC TV’s 30 ROCK) and the Broadway stage. For decades she has been playing larger-than-life leading ladies in signature stage roles from EVITA, SWEENEY TODD, SUNSET BLVD to GYPSY.

La LuPone will be taking the night off from her new role on Broadway as Lucia in the highly anticipated Broadway musical adaptation of Pedro Almodovar’s Academy Award winning 1988 film WOMEN ON THE VERGE OF A NERVOUS BREAKDOWN. That night she will be bringing to South Florida her acclaimed new revue, "Coulda, Woulda, Shoulda....Played That Part."

Her much anticipated (and long overdue) autobiography titled A MEMOIR releases this week. The released excerpts from her book have been the topic of discussion on many online Broadway message boards and the advance critical buzz is unanimous raves.

Patti LuPone will be at the Aventura Arts & Cultural Center in Aventura, Florida on Saturday October 23, 2010.
